En Lak'ech is a Mayan greeting meaning "you and I are one and the same." It is our goal and intention to welcome all those in the mindset of this philosophy — to enjoy the experience of this magnificent part of the world called Manitou Springs, to celebrate its rich history, and to learn from the nature surrounding it.
We extend our home, our hearts, and all that it has to offer. Built in 1886, Grays Avenue has served as a hotel, a boarding house, an apartment building, a lodge, and a private residence. In 1984 the Grays converted it to Manitou's first bed and breakfast.
Our wonderful 7-room historic turn-of-the-century Queen Anne sits in the heart of the Manitou Springs Historical District. All rooms have private bathrooms, most with claw-foot tub and shower, a delicious breakfast is served daily, and a Jacuzzi awaits in the back garden.

Yes! A delicious breakfast is served daily as part of your stay.
Do you accommodate children or pets?
Because of our retreat-style atmosphere and antique furnishings, we are unable to accommodate children under 10 or pets. Our Old English Sheepdog "Bailey" has limited common-area access and never enters guest rooms.
